Danny is a local fan fave who has released two solo ablums of original material, and has enjoyed success in several local Bars and Pubs in a band called DB7, and also performing as Danny Wray with some incredible heartfelt original songs. Danny's ability to convey the message in his lyrics through emotion and sincerity, makes him THE choice to tributize Kenny Chesney. Kenny's lyrics tell a story that few are able to convey. Rick Risti
Born and bred in East Boston Mass. Rick is an accomplished
guitarist having toured and recorded with the likes of Thrust,
Street Kid, Voyager, H Bomb, Ricks Night Out and The Rory
Scott Band. His signature guitar tone and style is one of the
best in the industry, and is constantly sought after. Rick has
played on countless recordings for many regional and national
acts. Rick brings his incredible dynamic guitar playing to the
No Shoes Nation band for each and every show. Zool!
Larry Novak​
Larry is a 30+ year veteran of the Boston music scene playing anything and everything from the original circuit in the eighties to Country with Stomp 'n Holler and the Cactus Gang. In addition to the No Shoes Nation Band, he holds down keyboard and vocal duties with the popular North Shore based duo known as 2 MUCH! Larry is a proud endorsing artist for Nord Keyboard USA
Dave Allen
Dave is the newest member of Redneck Castaway. Dave's musical roots started with piano, then he played drum for years in school and in local bands. Back in the 90's circumstances led a band leader to put a bass in his hands and declare "you're playing bass in the next show." He discovered that drummers make good bass players, and it's super fun to be out from behind the kit.
Dave has enjoyed being a member of many great bands including, Not in Kansas, Black Diamond, Timmy Brown Band, Gunpowder N' Lead, Andrew McManus Band, Tim Buono Band, Jake and Jenny Band, and Red Solo Cup (Toby Keith Tribute). Dave loves Fender Jazzbasses and Aguilar Amplification products. Most of his basses are custom builds he's created, and they all have names! If you see one that catches your eye, ask him about it!
Leo Melanson
Leo Melanson, a multi-instrumentalist comes to the NSNB with over 20 years of experience
in the New England Country Music scene, playing with many different bands.
Leo joined the No Shoes Nation Band in 2019 to play Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Banjo,
Mandolin, Fiddle, Pedal Steel Guitar and Bouzouki. With the addition of these instruments
the band is able to replicate songs from several different eras of the Kenny Chesney catalogue
Including early traditional country tunes, up-tempo rockers and breezy island vibes.
Brian MacDougall
Brian is an accomplished drummer and educator both on stage and off. A Berklee grad performing and recording multiple genres of music and playing with the likes of The Midtown Horns and numerous local artists in the Boston area. Brian is a Drum Course Creator and Remote Instructor at BeatCreature.com where he teaches students all around the world. He is a proud endorser of Vic Firth drumsticks, Zildjian Cymbals and Big Fat Snare Drum accessories.
